Pretty in Pink è il titolo di una romantic comedy targata 1986 ambientata in una high school americana. La colonna sonora, voluta dal regista Howard Deutch e dallo sceneggiatore John Hugues decisamente orientata verso un sound new wave e post punk, comprendeva una traccia omonima, presa in prestito dall’album Talk Talk Talk degli Psychedelic Furs. Nel realizzare una playlist anni 80 è proprio a queste sonorità che ci siamo ispirati, raccogliendo quello che è per noi una parte infinetisimale di quanto di meglio questo ricchissimo decennio ci ha regalato.
